If I can't eat at home

I eat at Miyabi. In fact I do eat at Miyabi often. It's one of the three places I eat lunch almost every week. It get's a little noisy at dinner so I go less often in the evenings. I like the seaweed salad and the salad with pickled octopus or scallops. Soft shell crab rolls and the roll with avocado & tuna on the outside with tempura shrimp on the inside...yummy & fresh. The first time I tasted the miso it sent me back to Tokyo for the first time in 20 years...not bad. Great Iced Green Tea. In fact I've never had anything that wasn't good at Miyabi. Sometimes the bill is painful but otherwise...I love it.

And if Miyabi is full have some tacos at Pez Gordo next door. And do write some more reviews dammit! Love all the bitchy comments :D

Regarding Pez Gordo has too many televisions and too many broken mirrors. I only really liked one of the 8 dishes I've had there that is why I have not written about it.

I can't eat stacked food, foam or confusion food therefore I cannot go to Acqua.

I've tried to stop writing negative blogs and therefore I've stopped virtually stopped blogging. I'll never be the Pollyanna.

But I'm working on a new blog called Ruta Puke...
I'm inspired by the food photos on Yucatan Today.

Great Blog!
i'm in merida for few days and would like to try (good) mole, which is not so easy to find. we were thinking of going to rosas and xocolate but after reading your blog have my doubts,

Maya,
Sorry I missed your window of opportunity to have mole in Merida. I was sitting in a palapa on Patmos staring at the sea and eating fresh seafood and heavenly Greek salads without an internet connection for 10 days.

Mole is very good at the Reforma Restaurant on the corner of Calle 72 and 45. First place I went on my return from Europe. Also good mole at Frieda's.
